On July 1, 2011 Grace Resource Center stepped out in faith to take over running the Lancaster Community Shelter. Becoming a rescue mission ministry seemed a perfect fit and we on the staff are convinced that God is moving us toward an amazing future. GRC joined the Association of Gospel Rescue Missions (AGRM) and we are now looking forward to expanding our ministry as a rescue mission. Our plans include building a men’s rescue mission here in the Antelope Valley, a 150-bed facility, and turning the Lancaster Community Shelter into a facility for women and children. Our men’s mission would include a residency program, alcohol and drug abuse recovery ministry, emergency bed program, education and much more. With this ministry our plans include attracting the homeless veteran community and providing transitional housing. You can be a part of these bold new plans by donating to Grace Resource Center today. AGRM stands ready to help us with many important aspects of building such a ministry, and the Antelope Valley Christian Ministerial Association stand with us. Please, give today!
